Biography:

Based in New York City, TENET is one of North America’s preeminent vocal ensembles. TENET has won acclaim for its innovative programming, virtuosic singing and command of repertoire that spans the Middle Ages to the present with a focus on Renaissance and Baroque repertoire under artistic director Jolle Greenleaf. The ensemble features distinguished soloists who shine in one-voice-to-a-part singing and as joined voices in small ensembles. TENET sponsors the highly acclaimed Green Mountain Project performances featuring Claudio Monteverdi’s Vespers of 1610 and other newly reconstructed Vespers by the project’s musical director, conductor, and violinist Scott Metcalfe featuring works by Claudio Monteverdi, Giovanni Gabrieli, Marc-Antoine Charpentier and their contemporaries.
