SUMMARY .................................................................................................................................................................................... The first in a series of three 2-CD sets finds eminent British pianist Imogen Cooper revisiting the music of Franz Schubert, repertoire that has been an integral part of her career for over three decades, indeed she describes her relationship with this music as "close to an obsession". Recorded live at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Volume 1 surveys three late Sonatas, three Klavierstücke, and the Ecossaises D781.
