Biography:

Ana Bakradze was born in Tbilisi, Georgia, and she began studying piano at the age of six at the Tbilisi Art School. From 2014, she furthered her musical education at Tbilisi’s Zakaria Paliashvili Central Music School with Professor Veka Svanidze, graduating in 2018 with the gold medal awarded to the best student of the year.

Since 2018, she has been studying at the Berlin University of the Arts under the guidance of Professor Gottlieb Wallisch, where she completed both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.

In 2025, together with her cello duo partner Carlo Lay, she received the ‘Förderpreis’ at the Classic Marathon presented by the Rheingau Musik Festival and Hessen Agentur. She holds scholarships from the Paul Hindemith Society Berlin, the Ad Infinitum Foundation and the International Music Academy Liechtenstein and in 2025 was named a scholar of the Lisa Batiashvili Foundation.

Ana Bakradze performs regularly as both a soloist and chamber musician at major festivals and in concert series throughout Europe.

Her appearances include the Rheingau Musik Festival, Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Grachtenfestival Amsterdam, Festival d’Auvers-sur-Oise, Pianoscope Festival (France), the Schiermonnikoog Chamber Music Festival, Villa Musica Rheinland-Pfalz and the Musikalischer Sommer in Ostfriesland (East Frisia).

She has performed in leading musical centres including Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Paris, Bordeaux, London, Vienna, Amsterdam, Utrecht, Barcelona, Stockholm, Porto, Luxembourg, Geneva and Zurich.
